Bride and Groom Introduction Songs
The Bride and Groom can have their very own song after the Bridal Party has been introduced. This is usually better for larger bridal parties so the Bride and Groom's entrance stands out by having their own favourite song.
A slow song can make the entrance more elegant if timed right by the DJ & MC or an upbeat style song that people can clap & make some noise to can be more fun & energetic!
After all it's the Bride and Groom's special day so why should they share a song with the rest of the bridal party. A little dance can even accompany the newly married couples entrance.

More about the Bride and Groom Introduction
After the wedding party has been introduced at the beginning of the wedding reception, the real stars of the evening are introduced – the bride and groom. You can either enter to the same music that was played when the wedding party was introduced or choose a separate song that will be all yours, it’s entirely up to you.
But whatever you do, when it’s time to have the bride and groom introduced, make it memorable!
There should be a slight pause in the music if you’re using the same music that was playing in the background for the introduction of the bridal party. If you’ve chosen a separate piece of music for the happy couple, it will emphasize your status as separate and special from the rest of the group.
Have the MC or DJ pause for effect and, if you can find a recording, perhaps have short drum roll or other special effect before announcing something along the lines of, “Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m happy to introduce to you the new Mr. and Mrs. ________.”
If you want an elegant entrance, be sure to keep the music in keeping with this. You’ll want to enter with refined, beautiful music playing. You can gracefully sweep into the room on each other’s arms and bow to the DJ or MC, then to the guests, before proceeding to your seats. Your guests will applaud you as a new couple and the celebration will be ready to begin.
However, many of today’s couples want to crank up something like Pink’s Get This Party Started to set the tone for a real celebration and come into the reception hall in full dance mode, ready to party. In this case, you can enter much more informally. You’ll still be greeted by applause as well as a some laughter and cheers and a more informal atmosphere will take over.
You may also want to consider music that is a symbol of your unique relationship or how you met. Did you meet at a baseball game? You could enter to Take Me Out to the Ball Game! Was your courtship largely a long-distance affair because he was stationed overseas and you had to keep in touch via email and phone calls? Consider Far Away by Nickelback or I’m Already There by Lonestar.
Crank Up the Fun Factor
You may want to make a big splash with your entrance as man and wife. Consider unusual introductions that will entertain your guests and elicit some laughter. What about having the bride carry the groom in as though she’s going to carry him over the threshold?
Or if he’s good with a rope, perhaps he could have his new wife “roped and tied,” and lead her in to the reception (all in good fun, of course!). Even something as simple as both the bride and groom entering wearing rubber noses and glasses will have your guests chuckling and set a light-hearted mood for the rest of the evening.
However you choose to be introduced at your wedding reception, remember to enjoy the evening and spend as much time as possible mingling with your guests who have come to share your special day with you.
