Traditionally, the single and un-married ladies gather around as the bouquet flowers are tossed by the bride and whoever catches the bouquet is the next in-line to get married.
This can accompany a Bouquet Toss Game of some sort where the winner receives the bouquet also.
As all eyes are on the bride at this point, she may want to have a bit of a dance to the song first before she throws the bouquet over her shoulder.
This leaves the single and unmarried ladies waiting with anticipation and the bride gets a little more of the spot light before the celebration ends!
Just remember, music breaks the ice and will make the Bouquet Toss more fun. Whatever song you choose it will usually only be a short 30 second sample so, “something fun” can work well.

For the couples that want to include the Garter tradition in their reception timeline, here are some Garter Removal & Toss song ideas.
More about the Bouquet Toss
The tossing of the bouquet has been performed at weddings for hundreds of years and this tradition is still very popular at wedding receptions today.
When picking a song for this part of the reception, it will really depend how much the Bride wants participation from the single and unmarried ladies. Usually this song is only played for as long as the bride wants to create anticipation with her friends & family.
This can be 10 seconds or the whole song if she likes. Once thrown, the lucky girl who catches the bouquet should be announced by the MC that she is the next inline (according to tradition anyway) to be married. Make sure the photographer and videographer has a chance to get a photo of the bouquet toss also.
It’s also important to note that the Bouquet Toss is not the only way for these flowers to be given away.
It can simply be given to the Brides best friend or can be claimed as a prize from a bouquet game.
